Musikcorpset Mistluren
Musikcorpset Mistluren is a friendly and welcoming bunch of people.
We are also The Band of HHGS.
Established in 1959, we have kept the spirit of music alive at Handelshögskolan for more than 60 years.
Our lifelong partner in music is the dance group Mistlåhren.
As a member of Mistluren, you will get the opportunity to:
Play together with a really fun group of people every Monday
Do live gigs inside and outside of HHGS – at student events, company events, private get togethers etc.
Get the best student life experience with an extra spice of the Luren Life added on top
Go on tour to the yearly student band festival (Studentorkesterfestivalen) and get an experience of a lifetime!
Collaborate and get to know other music associations in Gothenburg (not least at GSOF (Gothenburg Student Orchestra Festival))
How do I join? Do I have to be good at music to join?
No previous experience is needed. If you know the name of your instrument, you are welcome to join. We have open rehearsals twice a year, but you can join on any Monday at 18:00 in Handels. Send us an email for details!
