WHAT WE DO
Feministiska Juriststudenter Göteborg (FEMJUR Gbg) is an association for law students who are interested in feministic- and standard critical questions. Our purpose is to constitute a complement to the education when we find something missing. This goal is realized by arranging lectures, discussion meet-ups, study circles and more. Our events are open for everyone who is interested. Also, we have sister-associations connected to other legal educations in Uppsala, Lund, Stockholm, Örebro and Umeå.
WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN
FEMJUR is a platform for all the law students who want to discuss and analyze law from a genus-, standard critical- and intersectional perspective. The association operate from student initiative; therefore, we have different workgroups for the members based on what the they want to engage in. For example, the theme could be improving courses by inviting lecturers with specific knowledge, arranging discussion meet-ups, events or activities. FEMJUR has a good relationship with the law institution through cooperation, and operates to present what the students lack and request in their education.
